How to Delete Your Kinerix Account

You can permanently delete a Kinerix account at any time. How you do it depends on who the account belongs to. Every path below is available inside the app. If you cannot access the app, you can also request deletion by email (see "Can't access the app?" below).

When an account is deleted, the personal profile, credentials, and active rosters are removed from all in-app views. As required by federal child-safety regulations and state corporate audit and liability statutes, a minimized, secured archive of certain records (for example, safety verifications and audit logs of adult-to-minor interactions) is retained for the legally required period and is not visible in the app. Deletion is irreversible.

1. A parent or guardian deleting a child's account

Open Kinerix and sign in as the parent or guardian. Go to Profile, then Data and Privacy. Select the child, then choose "Close this account." Read the on-screen notice, type the confirmation phrase, and confirm. This closes the child's account and stops further data collection.

2. An adult athlete deleting their own account

Open Kinerix and sign in. Go to Profile, then Account. Choose "Delete your account." Read the on-screen notice, type the confirmation phrase (delete my account), and confirm. You will be signed out and the account-closure process begins.

3. A coach, trainer, or organization admin deleting their own account

Open Kinerix and sign in as the practitioner. Go to Settings, then Account. Choose "Delete your account." Read the on-screen notice, type the confirmation phrase (delete my account), and confirm. Practitioner self-deletion soft-closes the account and removes personal details from public views. Formal records of coaching interactions involving minors are legally retained in a secured archive for compliance, audit, and liability protection, and the practitioner's identity in those records is minimized. No coaching content is deleted from those archives.

4. Can't access the app?

If you are unable to sign in or use the in-app controls, email kinerixathletics@gmail.com from the email address associated with the account (or, for a child's account, from the verified parent or guardian email). Include the account name and the athlete's name if applicable. We will process the request and confirm completion within 45 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting on the request, to protect the account holder.

5. What is kept, and why

Deleting an account removes your profile and personal data from Kinerix's active systems. A limited, secured archive is retained only where the law requires it (for example, child-safety verification records and audit logs) for the statutory retention period, after which it is purged. This retention is required for security, legal, and audit compliance and is not used for any other purpose.
